Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook event scheduled for August
Samsung and Barnes & Noble announced a partnership that should have come to fruition in early August. The company and partner Barnes & Noble plan to host a gathering August 20 in New York to show off their first co-branded tablet, the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook.
The invitation doesn’t provide any details about the announcement beyond saying, “Join us as the best of both worlds come together.” A press invite for August 20 means things will finally get a move on later this month.
Samsung confirmed the first Galaxy Tab 4 Nook will be shown at the event, but it declined to comment further.
We expect to hear launch date and pricing info from the event, since those weren’t announced alongside the tablet itself (just FYI the vanilla Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 goes for $180).
